YOU CAN HELP US FIGHT CHILDHOOD CANCER. WE DONATE A PORTION OF OUR PROFITS TO THE RALLY FOUNDATION TO FUND CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH AND RAISE AWARENESS.
The Rally Foundation for childhood cancer research is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funds to find better childhood cancer treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, work towards a cure. According to independently audited financials, for every dollar given to Rally, 93 cents goes towards supporting Rally's mission, making it one of the most efficient non-profit organizations in the world.
Like so many, Wilson and Tommy's lives have been greatly impacted by cancer. When starting Two Pitchers Brewing, the duo knew they wanted to give back to the community in some way, and they quickly settled upon this cause - particularly after finding a phenomenal partner in the Rally Foundation. Tommy, for his part, wanted to use this donation to pay tribute to his dear late friend Brendan Ogg. Brendan passed away in 2010 at the age of 20 after a year-long battle with brain cancer. Brendan was smart, courageous, and the most charming guy you could ever meet. He was also an extremely talented and accomplished writer, with a short collection of his poems entitled "Summer Becomes Absurd" published posthumously. If you are looking for some words of wisdom to help put life in perspective, his book is available for purchase here - all proceeds from the book go towards his foundation.
